Samsung has announced a new app launch for its free, ad-supported video service Samsung TV Plus that will make watching the streaming service possible on some Samsung Galaxy smartphones starting Wednesday, September 23. Up until now, users could only watch entertainment available through Samsung TV Plus on Samsung Smart TVs. Now viewers can take their entertainment on the go and have more ways to watch the AVOD platform with the launch of this new app.

Select Samsung Galaxy devices will have instant access to favorite shows from over 135 premium channels of sports, comedy, reality TV, kids programming and more, including Kitchen Nightmares, Baywatch, PeopleTV and PlayersTV. In addition, the Samsung TV Plus mobile app will have the service’s ever-growing library of free, on-demand videos, full of hundreds of hours of binge-worthy shows and award-winning movies.

Galaxy users who own a phone from the Galaxy Note20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note10, or Galaxy S10 series will be able to enjoy the app starting today.
