Star Trek fans can stop holding their breath because season 2 of Picard is officially back in production. We know this thanks to an Instagram post by Michelle Hurd who plays Raffaela “Raffi” Musiker in the series. Hurds post shows her show name on what appears to be a script of some sort, along with a facemask and the caption “Back to work and it feels so good!!” followed by a series of happy emojis.
There’s plenty of Star Trek content in the works for fans. Aside from Picard resuming production on Season 2, it’s also guaranteed a third season. Plus, the animated Lower Decks is going strong, there’s a fourth season of Discovery, and Discovery spinoff Strange New Worlds in development. All of this is in addition to three new Star Trek movies in the works at Paramount+.
