Hulu just announced that season 1-3 of Veronica Mars will be hitting Hulu on July 1st, 2019. This comes as the brand new season 4 of Veronica Mars will hit Hulu on July 26th, 2019.
Veronica Mars first aired for three seasons between 2004–2007 on UPN and then on The CW. The show was a hit for both networks and in 2013, a Kickstarter raised $3.7 million in a matter of hours and the movie was released in 2014. Now once again it is coming back this time for a fourth season.
Hulu is the second streaming service to attempt a revival of the show. After the success Netflix had bringing back the Gilmore Girls, Hulu is now hoping to have the same success with Veronica Mars.
Details are still thin, but any deal will likely mean a 2019 release date at the earliest. Look for news on a release date to likely come in 2019.
