Google announced its new Chromecast with Google TV this week and is already starting to offer up deals for the device. For a limited time, if you sign up for YouTube TV, you’ll get a new Chromecast with Google TV. So, for your first payment $64.99, you’ll get a month of YouTube TV and the Chromecast (a $49.99 value.)
The new Chromecast is an improved version of Google’s TV dongle, with improved performance and new features for streamers. This version also includes a remote control, along with a new interface called Google TV. This version supports 4K resolution and HDR and Dolby Vision image quality. The device plugs into your TV’s HDMI port, keeping it hidden away. The new remote has dedicated buttons for Netflix and YouTube and an Assistant button, allowing users to navigate easily with voice commands.
This deal is for new subscribers only. Visit the YouTube TV website to get started.
Not interested in YouTube TV? Google announced another deal yesterday, offering a bundle deal that gives you the new Chromecast with Google TV plus 6 months of Netflix’s standard plan for $89.99.
