Today Sling TV announced that they are updating their Roku app to add a new “Trending Live” ribbon in your “My TV” Screen. Now you will see what shows or events are currently “highly-viewed” on Sling TV.

“Beginning today, Sling TV users on Roku devices can access Trending Live by selecting the My TV tab in the Sling TV app and scrolling past “My Channels” and “Recommended for You” (available on select Roku devices). You will then see “Trending Live,” featuring popular programs available in your subscription, and by scrolling right, you can discover what other live events Sling TV customers are tuning into right now – from live sports to season premieres you won’t want to miss.”

Sling TV often tests new features like this on Roku first only to add it to other devices later. Hopefully, this new trending live ribbon will be added to more devices soon.
