Sling TV Adds ESPN3 Content & SEC Network+ to Their Streaming Apps

lines_p1501_notre_dameToday Sling TV adds ESPN3, a multi-screen digital network with thousands of live sporting events to Sling TV’s Orange service today. This is the first time that ESPN3 is integrated directly within a pay-TV provider’s channel guide. Sling TV also launched SEC Network+, a digital channel for additional SEC Network live events, allowing customers to switch between multiple SEC games airing simultaneously.

With ESPN3 Sling TV subscribers will also get access to college football games on ABC through the ESPN3 simulcast on Sling TV.

“Adding ESPN3 and SEC Network+ into our guide means sports fans now have access to some of the most intense athletic match-ups of the year in one place,” said Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV. “With Sling TV, fans can sign-up for our service and begin watching the game within minutes and keep up with their favorite team all season long.”

ESPN3 and SEC Network+ bring Sling Orange customers access to thousands of live events, including college football, college basketball, NCAA Championships, tennis, soccer, cricket and more, all within the Sling TV app. No longer will you have to leave the Sling TV app to watch all your sports content. The 2016 college football season on ESPN networks features more than 800 games and 20 conferences.

Access to the WatchESPN app and WatchESPN.com remains available at no additional cost to all Sling Orange subscribers on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices.

Now we just need to get them to add the Longhorn Network and Sling will have their full offering.

Now if they’d just add Big Ten Network, I’d maybe possibly consider switching back from Vue Core Slim. But $45 for blue+orange+sports still isn’t very competitive with Slim at $35.

Sling is still just internet cable. I’m not paying for channels as a package ever. With channel pear you get it all free anyway.
