Today Sling TV expanded its free version of its app to the Fire TV and Android Devices. This gives owners of the Android mobile, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire tablet access to free movies and TV shows even if they do not subscribe to Sling TV.
Now on the Sling TV Fire TV and Android app you can:
- Access free episodes of TV shows: Browse ribbons on My TV and watch episodes of popular shows like Live PD: Police Patrol, Hell’s Kitchen, 3rd Rock from the Sun or movies like The Illusionist or Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans at no cost and without signing up for an account.
- Sign up for a Sling account and purchase pay-per-view events and movies: Browse popular content and pay-per-view events and movies for purchase, including more than 5,700 movie titles (Android and Roku only) – no base subscription to Sling necessary.
- Sign up for a Sling account and subscribe to à la carte channels: Binge-watch shows on Showtime or STARZ, available for purchase without a base subscription. You can also purchase channels like Curiosity Stream, UP Faith & Family, Hallmark Movies Now and more à la carte options on Sling TV. As the only live streaming service that allows you to purchase à la carte channels without subscribing to a base service, Sling makes it easy to stream all of your favorite content in the same interface.
This is a great way to test out the Sling TV app and see if you enjoy it before you pay for it.
