In the battle for your live TV Streaming dollars right now there are two clear winners Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW as both services now control over 66% of all live TV subscribers. This comes from a new report published by The Diffusion Group (TDG) that takes a look at the state of live TV streaming in the united states.
Here is a quick break down of the top 7 current subscriber numbers according to The Diffusion Group.

Maybe the biggest surprise here is the fact that PlayStation Vue has yet to top 1 million subscribers. After being the second major live TV streaming service to go nationwide they still are struggling to find subscribers. Many are pointing to the name as an issue as it was recently reported most PlayStation Vue subscribers are also PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 owners.
The other interesting note is that live TV streaming subscribers now top 5.3 million in the United States. Well, that is still well shy of the estimated 25 million cord cutters it does show strong growth for live TV streaming services. The number of live TV streaming subscribers is likely to increase as we continue to see new services like YOuTube TV and Philo launch in the United States.
