Family Enjoying Movie Night At Home Together

Last night Sling TV went down and for many customers, the service was out for most of the night and into the following morning. Now Sling TV says they have fully restored service after their engineers worked through the night.

Here is a statement from Sling TV sent to Cord Cutters News:

Our engineers worked through the night to identify the root cause and have implemented a fix. Service has been restored to normal operating conditions. If customers are still experiencing issues, they should restart the app and the service will stream as expected. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the service interruption.

This is the first major Sling TV crash in some time as recently Sling TV has been seen as one of the more stable options for cord cutters.  As with all technology they are bound to go down from time to time. Now it looks like Sling TV has restored service in time for primetime TV viewing.
