Sports Fans Watching TVEarlier today several Cord Cutters News readers started to report that MLB Network & MLB Strike Zone have started to show up in the Sling TV guide. Cord Cutters News has been unable to confirm the MLB Network on Sling TV but we have confirmed that MLB Strike Zone is now listed on our Sling TV app.

Update: Sling TV has pulled both the MLB Network and MLB Strike Zone from their app but we got screenshots before Sling TV pulled them:

What is MLB Network Strike Zone? The MLB Strike Zone is very similar to the NFL Redzone network that jumps you around to all the best action happening right now. “MLB Network Strike Zone takes viewers on a high-speed trip around MLB during the regular season. When live game telecasts air on MLB Network on Tuesday and Friday nights, MLB Network Strike Zone brings fans to every game, with up-to-the-minute highlights, live look-ins and updates, all commercial-free. In addition to game action, MLB Network Strike Zone has the most updated scores, standings and stats throughout the night.” MLB Network said on their website.

As best we can tell Sling TV Orange subscribers with the Sports Add-on are seeing the MLB Network. Cord Cutters News on our app has confirmed that MLB Strike Zone is now live in our app. It is very possible that since there has been no official announcement yet that the MLB Network went live earlier than it was meant to as only some subscribers are seeing it.

We have reached out to Sling TV and will post more as soon as we learn more.
