After DIRECTV NOW reported it had lost over 83,000 subscribers many wondered if Sling TV would also lose subscribers. Today we learned that Sling TV gained subscribers and now has over 2.424 million subscribers. This is up just slightly with 7,000 subscribers from the 2.42 million in the 4th quarter of 2018.

Sling TV started 2018 with 2.21 million subscribers and while growth slowed from 2018 Sling TV Dish overall has seen the decline of subscribers slow. Dish in the 1st quarter of 2018 lost 259,000 TV customers in the 1st quarter of 2019 when you count satellite TV customers. This is compared to 334,000 lost TV subscribers in the 4th quarter of 2018.

Net income DISH Network did go down to $340 million for the quarter ending March 31, 2019, compared to net income of $368 million from the year-ago quarter.

Later today Dish will hold their earnings call that should give us more insight into the future of Dish and Sling TV.
