Today, VIZIO announced that the popular live streaming service Sling TV is now available on VIZIO SmartCast TVs. Now, SmartCast users will be able to access the Sling TV app right from their big screen to stream live content and over 150,000 on demand shows and movies with their Sling TV subscription.
“With home screen access on VIZIO SmartCast, we are able to deliver our premier service to millions of users across America,” said Seth Van Sickel, SVP Product and Operations, SLING TV. “SLING continues to be the most convenient way to watch the shows you love when you want, where you want, and on your terms across a wide breadth of device options.”
The Sling app can easily be found on all VIZIO Smart TVs via the SmartCast home screen. Sling comes preloaded on the SmartCast app which is already integrated on VIZIO smart TVs. All you’ll have to do is turn on the TV, click on the Sling icon, and start streaming.
Sling joins streaming services like Apple TV+, Discovery+, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, Peacock, and Prime Video already available on VIZIO SmartCast.
