Sling TV and Blockbuster, owned by DISH, have paired up for Flashback Fridays. These free movie nights start this week.
Starting Friday, Jan. 31, Sling TV will air a different movie every Friday to Make It A Blockbuster Night, no charge or credit card needed. This throwback movie series starts this Friday with The Illusionist, the 2006 film with Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel.
Here’s the Flashback Friday Lineup for February.
- 7: The Maiden Heist (2009), a comedy with Morgan Freeman, Christopher Walken and William H. Macy.
- 14: Stuck in Love (2012), a romantic comedy starring Jennifer Connelly, Greg Kinnear and Lily Collins
- 21: The Proposition (2005), a drama with 86 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, starring Guy Pierce and Ray Winstone
- 28: Bernie (2011), a comedy starring Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey and Shirley MacLaine
