SlingYesterday Sling TV set a viewership record during the NCAA March Madness Championship game. The Men’s Basketball Championship game left other events like Game of Thrones and even the NCAA Football Championship game in the dust as Sling TV saw a 1,140% increase in viewership from the tip-off to the final last minute game-winning three-point shot.

SlingTV111This increase in viewership is after Sling TV saw their first real competition from Sony’s PlayStation Vue service, which launched earlier in March.

The real surprise is how well Sling TV handled March Madness. Many viewers reported that the experience was smooth and headache free once again showing that Sling TV has improved their service to be a more stable experience.
