Yesterday Sling TV started to roll out its new grid guide for its streaming media player, AirTV. This time it not only supports streaming channels such as ESPN but it also supports locals from your antenna.

It looks like the hold up for the new grid guide on the AirTV was the ability to integrate locals into the guide.

Back when the new grid guide started to roll out Ben Weinberge, Sling TV’s chief product officer, said, “To help you navigate all the great content we offer, today we’re announcing some new updates to the user interface for Android users, which will begin to roll out to users today. We will continue to roll updates to all Android users in the next several days, and will expand these UI updates to additional devices in the coming weeks.”

The team behind AirTV says if your device has not been updated already it should update shortly. So if you don’t have it yet, sit tight. You soon should have the new Sling TV grid guide on your AirTV.
