Did you get an email yesterday saying you got CBS, FOX, and NBC added? Well, that email may have been a mistake. Multiple readers have contacted Cord Cutters News to say they got the email but already have the channels listed or they didn’t get the locals listed.

It seems that email went out to almost everyone. Now DIRECTV NOW chat support has started to tell people they meant to say you may have gotten CBS, FOX, or NBC but not all three. Well many locals from Nextstar and Sinclair did go live recently but there are still many locals not on DIRECTV NOW.

Here is the email that went out from DIRECTV NOW yesterday:

Hi xxx,

We know locals matter—local foods, local folks and, yes, local channels. That’s why we are so pleased to announce that your local CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates have been added to your DIRECTV NOW℠ lineup. Sometimes these agreements take (much) longer than we would like, so we thank you for your patience.

Now that we’ve covered that, it’s time for you to get back to streaming the hottest entertainment in town, and we’ll get back to finding new ways to keep our customers happy.

Sincerely,
Your DIRECTV NOW Team

Cord Cutters News also got this email but already had several of the stations listed. If you got the email but don’t see the new locals don’t worry it is likely a mistake on their part.
