If you thought Spectrum was done raising the price of their live TV streaming service after it jumped from $19.99 to $21.99 you would be wrong.
Today Cord Cutters News has obtained documents that show Spectrum’s plans to slowly raise their live TV streaming services costs to $34.99 over four years.
According to the documents we have been sent, the first two years of Spectrum TV Stream will cost $21.99 a month. After the first two years, the price will go up to $26.99 a month. After the third year, the price will go up to $34.99 a month.
To get the service, you must have an internet-only plan or an internet- and voice-only plan from Spectrum. While the document says you must not have had a TV product from Spectrum in the last three days, there is an exemption listed for people who are trying to fully cancel their live TV streaming service.
There is some good news The Broadcast TV Surcharge on the Spectrum TV Stream service will be going down to $3 from its high of $8.85 according to people familiar with the service.
If you want to add MLB Extra Innings or NHL Center Ice, you will have to get a digital receiver with your package and pay the rental fee.
