Couple relaxing in living room holding remote control and smilingIn February, Spectrum announced a new live TV streaming service for Spectrum Internet customers called Spectrum TV Essentials. This new service costs $14.99 plus tax, and Spectrum says it has no additional fees or installation charges. For that price, the service offers 60 channels targeting customers who are not looking for news or sports but who want access to networks like AMC and Hallmark Channel.

In the spring, Spectrum started to roll out the service to select markets. Now it looks like Spectrum’s new $14.99 streaming service is live in all Spectrum markets including former TWC markets.

Spectrum Essentials gives you access to A&E, AMC, American Heroes Channel, Animal Planet, AXS TV, BBC America, BBC World News, BET, BET Her, BET Jams, BET Soul, Bloomberg, Cheddar, CLEO TV, CMT, CMT Music, Comedy Central, Cooking Channel, Destination America, Discovery, Discovery Family, Discovery Life, DIY, Food Network, FYI, Game Show Network, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, HDNet Movies, HGTV, HISTORY, IFC, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, Logo, MotorTrend Network, MTV, MTV2, MTV Classic, MTV Live, MTVU, NewsmaxTV, Newsy, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nick Music, NickToons, Outdoor Channel, OWN, Paramount Network, Science Channel, Sundance TV, Teen Nick, TLC, Travel Channel, TV Land, VH1, Viceland, The Weather Channel, and WEtv.

Spectrum Essentials is available on iOS and Android phones and tablets, Apple TV, Roku, Xbox One, Amazon Kindle Fire, Samsung Smart TVs, and computers via SpectrumTV.com.

Sadly, there is no website for this service. (That we could find.) Spectrum is only offering it by phone or in direct mailings at this time.
