Lionsgate and Fandango have teamed up to bring a special live watch party of the first John Wick movie, hosted by Keanu Reeves this Friday. Tune in, May 8 at 6:00pm PT / 9:00pm ET to watch this special event, where Reeves will be joined by Halle Berry and other cast members on Fandango’s Movieclips YouTube and Lionsgate’s YouTube Page.
The event is meant to bring people together to replicate the viewing experience created by movie screenings in audiences’ own homes while theaters are closed. Additionally, Lionsgate is making a donation to the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation to help people in the movie industry who are affected by the coronavirus. The series is free, with viewers also encouraged to donate.
Lionsgate Live! allows fans to watch the studio’s popular catalog titles for free over four consecutive Fridays and launched with “The Hunger Games,” “Dirty Dancing” and “La La Land.” All films are hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis and available to watch on Fandango’s Movieclips YouTube and Lionsgate’s YouTube Page.
