This year at CES, Future Tech Awards were given to those people and products that are influencing the tech industry. Awards were given for Future Choice, chosen by Future Tech’s editorial staff, and Reader’s Choice, voted on by consumers.
In the Reader’s Choice category, over 200,000 votes were cast by readers across Future’s technology portfolio. TCL took home the award for Best Value TV 2019 for their TCL 6-Series.
In the Future Choice category, Future Tech’s expert editorial staff voted TCL’s 6-Series as the overall Best Smart TV of 2019.
The TCL 6-Series features QLED color technology for better brightness and lifelike picture quality, LED backlighting, 4K Ultra HD picture clarity, and Dolby Atmos audio technology. The Roku TV gives users instant access to thousands of hours of content and the ability to create a personalized streaming set up. All of that for under $600 for the 55” and under $700 for the 65” via Amazon.

Other Reader’s Choice award winners included Apple’s tvOS 13 for Best TV Platform, LG’s C9 OLED for Best TV of 2019, and Google’s Nest hub Max for Best Smart Display.
Other notable Future Choice award winners included Netflix for Entertainment Product of the Decade and the Amazon Echo as the Smart Home Product of the Decade.
