Chicken Soup For the Soul Entertainment has reached a deal to launch its free streaming service Crackle on Smart TVs powered by VIDAA. The free app will now come preloaded on Hisense Smart TVs running on the VIDAA smart operation system.
“Crackle is excited to partner with VIDAA and to offer free access to our growing library of Originals and Exclusives, as well as our expanding library of studio films, docu-series, sports content, and classic TV shows,” said President of Crackle Plus, Philippe Guelton.
Hisense launched the VIDAA Smart TV platform in 2014 providing delivering a classic live television experience accompanied by dozens of VOD and linear feeds through streaming apps. Since launching, the platform has drawn in over 20 million installs worldwide.
Now VIDAA customers in the U.S. will have Crackle content on their proprietary operating system, with access to Crackle’s full library of studio film titles, classic TV series, and an original library of uplifting and inspiring content.
