three-killed-in-helicopter-crash-while-filming-discovery-channel-s-showDo you miss classic Discovery shows? We have good news for you! The Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and NOVA have started to post full-length episodes on YouTube for free.

These shows include NOVA NASA, which is a look at all things space; New Universe, a look at the future tech; National Geographic Space, which is a look at all things space from Nat Geo; Nat Geo Wild, a look at wild animals; and UNFO Alien, which looks at alien worlds as discovered by our new telescopes.

This is just a sampling of everything they have posted and there is new content added regularly. In total there are 100 full-length episodes most running over 40 minutes in length, all ad free with the exception of the typical YouTube pre-roll ads.

This is a huge step for cord cutters because Discovery takes both old and new content and posts it online for free. No longer do you need to buy these shows on Amazon. Although we do not know how long they will stay up or how large the catalog will get, it is nice to see over 80 hours of shows already posted.

Hopefully more channels will follow Discovery Channel’s lead and post their older content on YouTube. You can find the Discovery YouTube page HERE.
