The Free Cord Cutting Service Kanopy is Holding An AMA on Reddit

Do you like free movies, TV shows, music, audiobooks, ebooks, and more? Your public library is probably the best kept cord cutting secret to help you watch your shows, movies, and more without paying a dime. You likely know that your library lends out DVDs, but did you know most public libraries also stream movies, TV shows, ebooks, audiobooks, and more? One of the services that offer free movies, TV shows, and audiobooks is Kanopy. Kanopy teams up with local libraries to offer free streaming for members of more than 1,600 public library systems across North America. Stephan Richard is the Chief Product Officer for Kanopy. His role as CPO is to bring an easy to use experience to all of its users on the platforms they watch Kanopy on. He is also responsible for scaling its services to meet higher demand and to build the infrastructure which helps Kanopy achieve its goals in the most effective way possible. He was previously at Thomson Video Networks as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development where he was managing and developing the company’s OTT partnerships and alliances for Americas. Previously, Stephan spent 6 years at Sling Media developing multi-screen experience for consumers, where he served as Director of Product of Product Management.
