As you’ve probably heard, Dunder Mifflin has a new location. Well not really, the paper company crew is still working out of Scranton. But The Office is now streaming on Peacock instead of Netflix as of January 1, 2021.

Unsurprisingly, people seemed to panic watch the series on Netflix in the weeks leading up to the move. The Office was the No. 1 watched show across all platforms according to Nielsen’s streaming list for Dec. 7-13, with 1.279 billion in viewing minutes across the 192 episodes. The beloved sitcom was Netflix’s top show in 2020, and it seems like subscribers were out to get their fill of it on the platform one last time before it was gone.

So how are viewers responding to the show now that it’s on Peacock? The answer: Very well.

While viewing time for the sitcom saw a rise on Netflix in December, viewers streamed it even more once it hit Peacock Free + Premium in the new year.

As outlined by data from Reelgood, the share of streams for The Office among 2M Reelgood users in the U.S rose to 9.2% from Jan 1 to 7, topping Netflix’s Bridgerton and Disney+’s The Mandalorian on Reelgood’s list of the top 100 most-watched TV shows for that specific week.

What’s more, Reegood users who were using Peacock Free grew by 17% during the week of Jan. 8 compared to Dec. 25, and Peacock Premium grew by 5% during the same time period among Reelgood users. This rise in subscriptions could be attributed to The Office hitting the streaming service. Seasons 1-2 are available on Peacock Free, with seasons 3-9 streaming on Peacock Premium.

In addition to the complete series, Peacock offers even more Dunder Mifflin content that any superfan will love to explore including,

  • Every episode (201 total) of The Office.
  • Superfan Episodes that include never-before-seen footage and deleted scenes in extended cuts of the original series, starting with Season 3, with more coming in March.
  • Playlists to chronicle pranks (feat. Jim Halpert, Dwight K. Schrute); best office romances (feat. Jim Halpert, Pam Beesly); and office words of wisdom (feat. former regional manager Michael Scott).
  • The Office Zen, a 24/7 channel devoted to the sights and sounds of the office for anyone working at home.
