The Roku Channel announced this week that it will bring 13 new channels to its live TV channel guide. The Roku Channel now has over 165 free, linear channels that streamers can watch for free with the app.
The Roku Channel has over 50 million active accounts and users streamed a total of 58.7 billion hours in 2020. Roku has been steadily adding more content to the free streaming app and recently announced a deal to acquire the content from the now shut down Quibi. Quibi content includes scripted series, alternative and reality programming and documentaries featuring stars such as Idris Elba, Kevin Hart, Liam Hemsworth, Anna Kendrick, Nicole Richie, Chrissy Teigen, and Lena Waithe. Over a dozen shows produced for Quibi that never made it to the streaming service will also debut on The Roku Channel.
While we wait for the short form videos from Quibi to make their way to the app, here are the 13 new channels Roku announced today.

- Hallmark Movies & More — Hallmark Movies & More is your home for movies, series & specials from the Hallmark library.
- Kocowa Classic — Satisfy your K-drama addiction with KOCOWA Classic, a showcase of timeless K-dramas like Coffee Prince and Secret Garden for free.
- Loop 80s — The best of the 80s: New Wave, Dance, Pop, and Rock.
- Loop 90s — The best of the 90s: Alternative, grunge, pop, boy bands, hip hop
- Loop Country — The brightest stars in today’s country, new country songs and all time favorites
- Loop Hip Hop — From throwbacks to hot current tracks, all the best Hip Hop music videos on one channel
- Loop Hottest — Chart topping current hits from the biggest and most popular artists of the day.
- Loop Party — Uptempo jams to keep the party moving.
