The Univision app will begin rolling out to Fire TV devices and Fire TV Edition smart TVs today. The app includes content from Univision, UniMás, Galavisión, and more.

With the app, viewers will be able to watch Univision’s news, sports, and entertainment programming, including next month’s airing of the 33rd edition of Premio Lo Nuestro on February 18, the longest running Latin music awards show in the U.S. and the first music awards show in 2021.

Fire TV users can find and open the app with the voice command “Alexa, abre Univision” or “Alexa, encuentra Univision” using the Alexa Voice Remote or a connected Echo device.

With the addition of a Spanish language app, it’s a good time to remind Spanish speaking Fire TV users that Amazon makes it easy to change the language of an Echo device and all connected accessories, including Alexa responses.

To change the language of a device, follow these steps:

  • Open the Alexa app.
  • Open More and select Settings.
  • Select Device Settings.
  • Select your device.
  • Under Language, select your preferred language.
  • Select the language you want to configure for the device.
