This morning The Weather Channel’s coverage of Hurricane Michael, started to air for free on SiriusXM on channel 145. Current SiriusXM subscribers and non-subscribers can listen to The Weather Channel for free.

Looking for how to watch The Weather Channel’s coverage of Hurricane Michael? Here is how you can watch The Weather Channel’s coverage of Hurricane Michael without subscribing to cable TV.

FuboTV

The last option is Fubo TV and its new Fubo Premier plan. There you will find The Weather Channel available on its $39.99-a-month package for the first month.

DIRECTV NOW

DIRECTV NOW has The Weather Channel starting at $55 a month in the following packages: Just Right, Go Big, and Gotta Have It. With these subscriptions, you can get full access to The Weather Channel with a live feed of the hurricane Michael coverage. They do have apps on most streaming players including Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, and Apple TV.

Once again cord cutting is becoming easier and easier. Just a few months ago there weren’t any options outside of cable to watch The Weather Channel.

Now The Weather Channel is not your only option to watch live coverage of Michael.

WeatherNation

Looking for something other than the Weather Channel? Check out WeatherNation, a free 24/7 news channel available on every major streaming player such as the Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV.

Local Weather

Local weather is often the best weather to see what is happening in your hometown. The first option is always a great antenna to get your local station. (During Hurricane Harvey, many cable networks went out but over the air TV stayed on the air.)

Sadly locals are not always available over the air. NewsON is a free service currently available on Roku and many smartphones. With NewsON you can stream your local news for free live and on-demand, giving you access to all the news you need every day.

Both Fubo TV for $39.99 for the month or DIRECTV NOW for $55 for the month offer a live feed of the Weather Channel. The best part is they both offer a free 7-day trial so you can test them out. Not only will you get the Weather Channel, but you will find many other great news and information channels.
