We may have not gotten a lot done this year. But one thing’s for sure, there was plenty of time for watching new movies and TV shows. Google has released its year-end list of top searches for 2020, and the most popular searched TV Show comes as no surprise. Netflix’s Tiger King topped the list with more Google searches than any other show. And yes it came out in 2020, back in the banana bread phase of quarantine even though March seems like a lifetime ago.

Parasite lands at the top of the list for most Googled movie of the year. The Korean thriller has multiple awards under its belt, including Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best International Feature Film. The twisted thriller was followed by the WWI film 1917 which actually came out in 2019 on Christmas Day last year.

Another older film that made the top ten search list this year was Contagion, for obvious reasons.

Keep scrolling for the top ten TV Shows and Movies of 2020, and where to stream them.
