Today, TiVo launched the Prime Video app on select TiVo devices for its pay TV operator customers nationwide.
With this new addition to TiVo, subscribers with an Amazon Prime membership can easily find, watch, and enjoy their favorite Prime Video movies and shows directly from their TiVo.
“We are excited to bring the Prime Video app to our TiVo pay-TV customers, making available thousands of fan favorite movies and TV shows, including binge-worthy Amazon Originals such as Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to Prime members, ,” said Dave Shull, President and CEO, TiVo. “Adding the Prime Video app means fueling fandom for great content that reaches millions of households.”
TiVo’s pay TV customers can now stream Prime Video, use the TiVo Voice Remote to search Prime Video for content, and use TiVo’s OnePass to collect all episodes of a show and bookmark them to watch later. “Providing Prime members with great content and offering them an excellent viewing experience has always been our priority,” said Andrew Bennett, Director of Worldwide Business Development for Amazon Prime Video.
