Ever record a sporting event only to have the ending cut off? That will soon be a thing of the past thanks to TiVo.

Yesterday Cord Cutters News met with TiVo in person and got a hands-on look at TiVo’s new products. One of the things TiVo showed off was a new feature that uses real time data from the channels to make sure you never miss the end of a game.

Instead of using a set time for the end of a game, TiVo will now use real time data by default for the ending of sports recordings.

You will still be able to set an end time if you desire or add additional time to make sure you don’t miss the post-game interviews.

TiVo said this new feature will start rolling out soon and will become the default end for sporting events.
