Did you purchase a new Apple device between September 10 and November 1? If you haven’t already redeemed your free year of Apple TV+, today is your last day to get the deal.

Before launching, Apple announced that any customer who purchased a new new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac capable of running the latest iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS after September 10, 2019 would be eligible for a free year of Apple TV+.

Customers have 90 days after activating the new device to start their free year of Apple TV+. Those who purchased and activated a new device before the Apple TV+ launch date of November 1st started that 90 day window on the launch date. This means that many customers, including those who bought and activated a new iPhone on the day they were released, have a deadline for signing up for a free year of January 31, 2020.

Here’s how to get your free year. You’ll need to sign in on your new device, so have it ready and follow these instructions to get started.

  • Turn on your new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD, or Mac and sign in with your Apple ID.
  • Open the Apple TV app on November 1 or later. Make sure your eligible device is running the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS.
  • The offer should be presented immediately after launching the app. If not, scroll down in Watch Now until the offer appears.
  • Tap “Enjoy 1 Year Free.” You might be asked to enter your Apple ID password, confirm your billing information, or add a valid payment method. You will not be charged during the 1 year free trial.

After the free year, you’ll be automatically enrolled in a subscription to Apple TV+ for $4.99/month. You can cancel at any time through the Settings on your device. Be sure to cancel at least a day before the next renewal date to avoid charges.
