Over the last few weeks, Roku has rolled out dozens of new and updated Roku Channels. With so many channels it can be hard to find some of the best ones, so we handpicked the best new, updated Roku Channels for August 2018. My hope is this list helps you find something new to try out on your Roku.

Now, this list is not the best Roku Channels, just my handpicked list from new and recently updated Roku channels listed on Roku’s Channel site. In no particular order, here’s my top 10.

Nosey

If you love daytime TV, we have a Roku Channel for you. Nosey brings a ton of free prime-time TV. Shows including Maury Povich, American Gladiators, Jerry Springer, Steve Wilkos, Paternity Court, Cheaters, Match Game, and Family Feud. You can add Nosey to your Roku HERE.

Adult Swim

Adult Swim has been on Roku for a bit now. What is new is their expanded lineup of free content including marathons of popular shows like Rick and Morty. If you have a login with a service like Hulu, you can get even more but there is still a ton of free content on the new Adult Swim Channel. You can add Adult Swim to your Roku HERE.

Redbox Beta

Recently Redbox relaunched their online streaming store. Redbox Beta allows you to buy and rent movies. Keep an eye on it because they often offer great deals. You can add Redbox Beta to your Roku HERE.

Alfred Hitchcock

Love classic Alfred Hitchcock? With this Roku Channel, you can get a ton of his older works 100% free! You can add the Alfred Hitchcock Channel to your Roku HERE.

Twitched Zero

Sadly, Amazon pulled their official Twitch channel from Roku players late last year. The good news is there is a long list of unofficial Twitch channels that give you full access to Twitch. (Including free Thursday Night NFL football this fall.) Twitched Zero stands out because they do not charge a fee to buy the channel. You can add Twitched Zero to your Roku HERE.

K-State

College football is almost here and increasingly colleges and even conferences are releasing Roku Channels. These Roku Channels give you access to a wide range of video and audio coverage of your favorite sports teams 100% free. If you have not searched the Roku channel store for your favorite schools or conferences it may be time to take a look as you may be missing out. You can add K-State to your Roku HERE.

B&W Theater

Love classic TV shows and movies? Check out B&W Theater for a great selection of 100% free classic movies and TV shows. You can add B&W Theater to your Roku HERE.

Korea OnDemand

Korean content has been fairly hard to find in the United States. Many international live TV streaming services do not offer a Korean package. Recently several services have started to add Korean content, and now Korea OnDemand has launched on Roku offering an ever-changing catalog of Korean content. You can add Korea OnDemand to your Roku HERE.

Sundance TV

If you love independent TV and movies, check out Sundance TV for a great catalog of 100% free programming. You can add Sundance TV to your Roku HERE.

Raiders

With the NFL preseason already underway a growing number of NFL teams have released a Roku Channel where you will find a ton of content from short documentaries to full press conferences all free right at your fingertips. If the Raiders are not your favorite team, make sure to search because most NFL teams now have a Roku Channel. You can add the Raiders to your Roku HERE.
