Free streaming service Tubi has announced a deal with 9 Story Distribution International Limited to bring six seasons of the classic children’s show Barney & Friends to the platform, with 3 seasons available exclusively on Tubi beginning April 9. Seasons 7-9 of the live-action series, which featured Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato in their younger years, will be available exclusively to Tubi viewers, while Seasons 10-12 will be available non-exclusively.

The show originally aired from 1992 to 2009 with Barney becoming everyone’s favorite purple dinosaur, accompanied by friends like Baby Bop and BJ helping preschool kids learn cognitive skills, creativity, and the importance of imagination and friendship building.
These new seasons of the Barney & Friends join Tubi’s existing library of more than 8,000 hours of age-appropriate children’s content for free. Tubi is available on Android and iOS mobile devices, Amazon devices, Roku, major smart TVs, and more.
