Good news for Americans stuck with only a few home Internet options. This week Verizon announced plans to bring 5G home Internet to 30 more U.S. cities in the first half of 2019. AT&T also announced that they will start rolling out the mobile version of their home Internet service in the 1st half of 2019. According to Verizon, 5G home Internet will continue to expand in the second half of 2019.

Verizon says their 5G mobile Internet will also launch in the 1st half of 2019 along with a mobile phone from Samsung.

“Verizon’s plans to launch its 5G Ultra Wideband Network in more than 30 U.S. cities in 2019. Verizon 5G Mobility will launch in the first half of 2019, and Verizon 5G Home will expand coverage to more markets in the second half of 2019. Revenues from 5G Mobility and 5G Home will begin to scale next year and are expected to contribute more meaningfully to growth in 2021. The company’s Mobile Edge Computing platform, which will enable real-time enterprise applications, is expected to launch in fourth-quarter 2019,” Verizon said in a statement on their website.

Verizon’s 5G home Internet service is now live in Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, and Sacramento with more on the way. The cost will be $50 a month for Verizon Wireless customers and $70 for non-Verizon Wireless customers. The best part is that there is no data cap for Verizon’s 5G home Internet service. You will also get 3 months of YouTube TV making the deal even better.

Here is what comes with the service:

  • Free white glove installation and equipment. You get professional installation and set-up of all Wi-Fi devices, as well as a free router and router upgrades as they become available in 2019.
  • 5G Mobile devices. You get the ability to be first in purchasing new 5G mobile devices as soon as they hit the market in your area.
  • 5G Dedicated service. You get dedicated 5G expert representatives providing world-class support.
