For about a year now Viacom channels have been missing from PlayStation Vue. Exactly whey they got pulled is unknown but today suddenly on PlayStation Vue they have started to return. For now, though they are just in the guide with no content but it is a promising sign.

Update: A&E Networks are also showing up now.

Update #2: These channels are only showing up on select devices. The PlayStation Vue website does not show them listed.

Update #3: PlayStation Vue has removed the A&E and Viacom channels from their lineup. Could be a mistake could be the early stages of adding them to PlayStation Vue.

This could be a technical glitch but could also be the first step to bringing the channels back. It would also explain the recent $5 price hike. That $5 price hike would be more than enough to cover the cost of Viacom channels.

Here are the channels that Viacom pulled from PlayStation Vue back in November 2016:

MTV
MTV2
Nickelodeon
Nick Jr.
Nicktoons
VH1
Comedy Central
Spike
TV Land
BET
MTV Live
MTV Classic
MTVU
Logo TV
NickMusic
CMT
CMT Music
BET Gospel
BET Jams
BET Soul
Centric
