VIZIO has upgraded its SmartCast TV platform with a few new features to enhance its user experience. The latest update sees the addition of faster performance and a new selection of free TV channels to accompany its newly designed electronic program guide. With all this new content, VIZIO is making it easier to navigate the library by adding voice control capabilities.
VIZIO Voice delivers a hands-free navigation experience that lets users search content just by speaking into the remote. You can also launch apps and adjust TV settings with just your voice, including volume, picture quality, and more. The new remote is sleeker and reportedly more responsive for easier use. There’s also a microphone button just below the directional pad to press and speak. Most new SmartCast TV models will come with the remote included.
All of the latest programming and features on SmartCast are available on all VIZIO 2021-22 televisions. For users with older SmartCast TV models, VIZIO has updated its iOS and Android apps with VIZIO Voice so you can turn your mobile device into a voice-powered remote.
