Have you been thinking about testing out the new iOS 12 Beta 1 on your iPhone or iPad? If you are a PlayStation Vue subscriber you may want to hold off as right now PlayStation Vue will not work with the new beta.
According to multiple reports, PlayStation Vue won’t open with the new iOS 12 Beta. Other services like Hulu, DIRECTV NOW, and Philo all work with the beta but not PlayStation Vue. This is not unusual with a beta often a handful of apps just will not work with a new beta app. This time it seems to be PlayStation Vue.
iOS 12 Release Dates:
- Right now for iOS 12 developer beta (for paid Apple Developers Only)
- It is reported that on June 26 Apple will start a public beta (based on iOS 11 public beta)
- The final release will likely happen in September 2018
As with all betas if you want to give them a try just be ready for many features not to work. This is part of the beta process as it is meant to find bugs and unsupported apps. Hopefully, Sony will roll out a PlayStation Vue update to add support for iOS 12.
