Washington Post Channel Launches on New Streaming Service VUit

This week, the ad-supported streaming newcomer VUit announced its new partnership with the Washington Post to bring engaging discussions on the most pressing issues of the day to life with its channel Washington Post Live which launched on the streamer Dec. 1, 2020.

“At its core, VUit’s mission is to provide access to meaningful news stories and cultural events and conversations from across the country to a wide audience,” said Syncbak CEO and founder Jack Perry. “As a streaming partner of Washington Post Live, we are looking forward to introducing new viewers to incredible content created by one of the most well-respected global news brands.”

“Washington Post Live produces timely conversations on a wide range of topics that matter to people, whether it’s the latest on healthcare policy or a conversation with the stars of a new film,” said Kristine Coratti Kelly, GM of Washington Post Live. “We are excited to work with VUit to make this quality, robust programming available to their audience across the country.”

In September, Syncbak announced the launch of VUit (pronounced “view it”), a new ad-supported streaming service offering access to live, local channels, along with national channels and on-demand content.

VUit is striving to become the “Netflix of Live, Local, and Free.” Some of its on-demand content includes recent live interviews with former president Barack Obama and physician and immunologist Anthony Fauci, the country’s leading infectious-disease expert.

VUit launched with over 200 television station partners, owned by Gray Television, Meredith Corporation, Cowles Media Company, Heritage Broadcasting Group and Morgan Murphy Media.
