The cast of Netflix’s animated series Big Mouth will perform a live table read via YouTube, according to an Instagram post by star and co-creator Nick Kroll. The livestream starts at 8pm ET (5pm PT) on the Netflix is a Joke YouTube channel in an effort to support Feeding America, Kroll added.
The show, which follows the lives of teenagers growing up in suburban New York, has aired for three seasons on Netflix, though it was picked up for an additional three seasons last year.
In addition to Kroll, the livestream is scheduled to feature Maya Rudolph, John Mulaney, Jenny Slate, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Fred Armisen, and others.
The goal is to benefit Feeding America, a nonprofit organization with a network of food banks around the country. With the coronavirus outbreak keeping people at home and forcing schools to close, the group estimates 55 million students are staying home and potentially missing out on meals.
