Hulu LogoHulu with Live is a tier of Hulu’s streaming service that adds live TV to Hulu’s extensive on-demand library. If you want to watch live TV with a Hulu subscription, here’s how to do it.

If you’re a new Hulu subscriber, start at the Hulu website and click on “Start Your Free Trial” then choose the Hulu + Live TV option. Create your account, enter your credit card information to continue your subscription after the free trial, and submit.

If you’re already subscribed to a basic Hulu package, you can easily switch to the Hulu with Live option. Log in to your account and click the “Get Live TV” button. Find the option you like and click “Switch To This Plan” then enter your zip code to access local channels, and click continue.

After you’ve signed up, you’ll see a “Live TV” button on your Hulu home screen which will take you to the guide with all of the live channels offered, including local channels for your area. Hulu with Live also includes a Cloud DVR feature, allowing you to record live content and watch it later.

These are the devices that Hulu says support the latest Hulu app, allowing you to access all Hulu features and the content you subscribe to, including Live TV and Premium Add-Ons.
