YouTube TV Adds EPIX

Today YouTube TV and EPIX announced a deal to bring PIX, EPIX 2, EPIX Hits, and EPIX Drive-In to YouTube TV later today. The new EPIX bundle will cost $6 a month and give you access to movies like Get ShortyBerlin StationDeep StateElvis Goes There and PUNK as well as upcoming premieres of original seriesGodfather of Harlem.

“2019 has already been an incredible year of growth for EPIX,” said Michael Wright, President of EPIX. “We’re thrilled to partner with Google and bring our full slate of premium programming to a new and rapidly growing audience on YouTube TV.”

“In just a few months, we have significantly increased our distribution across all platforms,” added Monty Sarhan, EVP & General Manager of EPIX. “YouTubeTV is an incredibly important part of our overall strategy to grow EPIX’s national footprint.”

This news comes as EPIX is becoming more cord cutting friendly. Recently they launched a dedicated streaming app for cord cutters and added EPIX to the Roku Channel.
