Google’s live TV streaming service has slowly been adding new features and markets. This week was no different as not only did YouTube TV add two new markets they also made it easier not to have your DVRed games spoiled.
This week YouTube TV announced two new markets in South Carolina and West Virginia via a tweet on their official Twitter account:
Let’s give a warm YouTube TV welcome to the Charlestons! YouTube TV is now live in Charleston, SC and Charleston, WV. Check out live TV from 50+ networks and unlimited DVR now → https://t.co/o2a9II0L0D pic.twitter.com/03NAvvcK5P

YouTube TV also updated their help page with a guide on how to hide game scores from the YouTube TV menus. On YouTube TV in the past when you looked at a game you recorded or is in progress you would see the score of the game. This feature ended up having an unexpected side effect as it spoiled the game for some who had hoped to watch it on reply via their DVR.
Now YouTube TV added the following option to remove game scores from their menus:
- Open YouTube TV.
- Select the overflow menu on a team or league page.
- Toggle on “Hide all scores for this team/league.”
