Good news for YouTube TV subscribers. YouTube TV recently expanded their on-demand library of shows from Turner including the long-requested Cartoon Network.
When exactly this happened we are not sure. As best we can tell it happened over the weekend. We are also not fully sure how large this new expanded on-demand selection will be.
This all comes a few weeks after YouTube TV expanded their CBS on-demand catalog. The downside is YouTube TV sometimes will replace a DVRed version of your show with an on-demand version with unskippable ads. This recently happened with the CBS on-demand deal on YouTube TV.
YouTube TV is still a fairly young service that is slowly rolling out new features. With the rollout of an expanded on-demand section for some Turner networks like Cartoon Network, they are becoming a far more attractive live TV streaming service.
YouTube TV is facing competition from new and old competitors such as PlayStation Vue, which recently removed many out-of-home restrictions. DIRECTV NOW is also getting ready to release an updated version of their service with new DVR options.
