Today YouTube and Major League Baseball (MLB) announced that they will stream 13 games on YouTube for free. These games will be available exclusively through YouTube in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

You will be able to watch these games on YouTube and on a soon to be launched dedicated channel on YouTube TV. This means you will be able to watch on smartphones, tablets, computers and Smart TVs and streaming media players.

This news comes as MLB and Facebook have reached a new agreement for the 2019 season that includes just 6 non-exclusive games.

Last year, MLB and Facebook had a deal that included the social media platform showing 26 games, many of them exclusive to the site, through Facebook Watch.

Rob Shaw, Facebook Sports Partnership Lead, Leagues & Media said: “We look forward to testing a new model for live games, which should help the league continue to reach a younger and more global audience.”
